ANNUNCIATION OF THE LORD RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
YOUTH MINISTRY
The Youth Program involves many facets. Youth gather to build community and fellowship as well as to pray and share faith. Activities also include service projects, fund raising, participation in diocesan, national and local events and just plain fun.
The parish sponsors an active High School Youth Group (9th-12th grades). The components that shape our youth ministry programs are community, worship, guidance, service, advocacy, catechesis and family. Our high school youth group gathers every Sunday evening -- the second and fourth Sundays of the month as the Dead Theologians Society (DTS). DTS is a national Catholic organization where "the Saints of Yesterday inspire the Youth of Today to become the Saints of Tomorrow". Middle school and elementary students meet for special events as announced during the year.
