ANNUNCIATION OF THE LORD RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
YOUTH EDUCATION & SPIRITUALITY (YES)
Our parish program of religious education is based on Scripture, Prayer, The Catechism of the Catholic Church and our diocese’s Handing on the Faith. The YES program also aims to help children grow in their awareness, understanding and participation in liturgy through regular exposure to different prayer forms.
YES Classes for Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade take place on Sunday mornings 9:45 am - 10:50 am. The classes are held in the St. Ann Education Center for all children not attending parochial school.
Classes begin in mid-August and continue until the middle of May. All text books are based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Children at all age levels have opportunities to participate in liturgies, Reconciliation services, and other special activities.
